2010 is going to be extra special for the Cadet Forces as they celebrate their 150th birthday, known as Cadet 150. Initially formed after the Crimean War to help bolster the country's defence numbers, The Cadet Forces are now a voluntary youth organisation which offers young people the chance to develop leadership, teamwork skills, self-discipline and self-confidence.
